SBC has announced a dedicated Sports Betting Innovation track for its upcoming summit on 29 September 2026. The agenda will examine artificial intelligence, live data integration, and market integrity solutions across the industry.

The new track operates within the Tech and Innovation Stage and addresses tools designed to improve fan engagement and betting mechanics. Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, stated that the sector now faces the challenge of identifying which technologies deliver measurable value rather than simply adopting new systems. He noted that the schedule aims to highlight partnerships and strategies capable of providing a competitive edge.The opening discussion, titled Sportstech Intelligence: How Live Data Shapes Smarter Odds, will feature Giovanni Bertoli, Co-Founder and CEO of WSF Odds, James McKiernan, Commercial Director at Genius Sports, and Hristo Spasov, Head of Trading at Nederlandse Loterij. The panel will review how data processing and pricing technology support faster odds generation and in-play market development.
Following this, the Connecting the Game Through Next-Generation Tech Partnerships session will bring together Rob Brown, B2B Growth Director at Spotlight Sports Group, William Bonalume, COO of Open Gaming, and Ricardo Peixoto, Country Manager Brazil at Sofascore. Their discussion will cover collaboration models between operators, media entities, and data providers.
The track will also address regulatory developments affecting fantasy sports operators. John Pauley, VP of Government Affairs and Partnerships at Underdog Fantasy, and Kevin Vela, Managing Partner at Vela Wood, will discuss market expansion and player personalization strategies during the Fantasy Sports: From Make-Believe to Market Pressure session.
The final segment, Modern Manipulation: Are Today’s Integrity Tools Built for Yesterday’s Threats?, will evaluate current technology used to monitor betting markets and counter integrity risks.
