Lopesan Hotel Group has officially opened three new resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on July 8, 2026. The launch expands the company’s Caribbean portfolio from one property to four.
The new development includes the Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort Spa & Casino, Lopesan Serenity Bay Spa & Casino, and Lopesan Splash Cove Spa & Casino. Each property operates with independent hotel facilities and attractions. An open-air walkway named The Boulevard links the three sites and houses a casino alongside retail, dining, and evening entertainment venues.
The addition joins the existing Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino under the group’s management.
Investment and Operational Scope
The construction project required a $350m investment. Operations generated 700 employment positions during the initial launch period. Management expects the workforce to exceed 1,100 staff members when the complex reaches full operational status. Carlos Jimenez, regional director for Lopesan Caribbean, stated that the development "reflects continued investment in Punta Cana as a key luxury travel destination" and introduces a unified resort model for the market.Source: Richard Hollis.
