Caesars Entertainment has launched Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, Nevada. The resort replaces the former Harveys Lake Tahoe property following a multi-phase renovation.
The updated facility features newly renovated guest rooms and a redesigned casino floor. Combined with the adjacent Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, the destination now offers nearly 1,250 rooms. The gaming area includes fresh slot machines, table games, a dedicated high-limit and poker section, and a remodeled Caesars Sportsbook.
Several new bars and a coffee lounge have also been added to the venue.
Opening Ceremony and Executive Commentary
The ribbon-cutting event included a champagne reception, with Lisa Vanderpump officially marking the launch. Anthony Carano, president and COO of Caesars Entertainment, stated: "With Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, we set out to create something truly distinctive for this market. An experience that blends the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada with the energy and innovation our guests expect." Karie Hall, SVP and general manager of Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, added: "Our vision was to take everything guests have loved about this destination for decades and revitalise it through a more modern, design-forward lens."
Caesars Entertainment reported first-quarter net revenue of $2.9bn alongside a net loss of $98m. Consolidated adjusted EBITDA reached $887m, compared to $884m in the prior period.
